Advisory: The API Service Category listed on the product label is OBSOLETE and is not suitable for use in most gasoline-powered automotive engines built after 1967. Use in more modern engines may cause unsatisfactory performance or equipment harm. The label fails to give adequate warning of this limited use. Adding to this concern is that the levels of phosphorus and zinc (antiwear additive) in the sample tested are significantly lower than typical in a motor oil meeting an API SC/CC Service Classification. In addition, the Viscosity Index of 158 indicates this oil may be a multi-grade instead of the claimed single grade.
