The results of the tests conducted on this sample are consistent with their labeled claims.

Note: The Petroleum Quality Institute of America, however, has concerns that the language on the back label of the product tested does not advise consumers of its limited use and, instead could be misleading by stating that It has been formulated to meet the most recent transmission fluid specifications. Wolf’s Head DX III-H/M ATF should be used in most modern transmission because it provides… Although the label also states Wolf’s Head DX III-H/M ATF is recommended for use in transmission requiring GM DEXRON – III, FORD MERCON, Allison C-4, and Caterpillar TO-2, it fails to provide adequate warning that Dexron III/Mercon fluids should not be used in vehicles built after 2005. Further, the label does not include language advising consumers to consult owner’s manual for proper fluid recommendations.
